Pokemon Numbers 1- 150

Japan: Prints from another planet

Lívia Duarte

Reaching Japan is like landing on another planet, where there are also human, but much more modern, but live with their ancient culture. In twelve days of life on this planet, I saw that everything is a surprise.

hair tips that are full of men, style "I'm still a little girl in uniform college" girls and shoes much larger than the feet that carry all. Everything is a matter of attention, every detail every day, every smile that open when we deliver a card or key.

tiny style
I also was intrigued by the large number of private clubs and prostitutes in Sakae in Nagoya, or the fact that although is economic power in the world, hardly anyone speaks English. Swirl of images in which everything changes - because the alphabet is not the alphabet and writing them is for us to picture - or need to talk.

Japan The planet is overpopulated and it works like clockwork. Everything is timely: the people, the nineteen Tokyo subway lines, the closing time of the breakfast room. Do not try asking "five little minutes more." None. But if a detail goes wrong, there is total despair in the air. The faces, closed. All go crazy until everything is perfect again.'s When the smile again Japanese face. That's what I had said, and then when they found my reservation at the airport, I saw is true.

Of the customs of Japan, know that business cards are the rule. I think kids and dogs just do not. You should know that they are not given to someone with one hand, or with some haste. You have to give everything with two hands, a smile and looking at the face who looks forward to receiving and rushing off to the next engagement. For all are available for five seconds but seemed five hours: that is the Western impatience. It seemed that no one lives without courtesy or cordiality. It is the most polite and caring to be, even without touching hands.

with a German friend and no tour guides was possible to observe a lot, understand little and create many theories about the Japanese lifestyle. Therefore, take little account of what I'm counting.

Nagoya Castle
Nagoya City I met a lot more work - I can best describe the convention center and the circle line metro the streets around my hotel -. The city is very clean, but in general the buildings are gray, straight, unattractive. The buildings of the oldest parts of Tokyo are equal. This is the case of the Asakusa district, where he was staying. But there are so many people, so, so! Not needed beautiful buildings if there are so many people to look down the street.

After losing thousands of times, the meter can always reach any site: the modern streets of Ginza, full of famous shops where you can spend all lottery winnings in one day, the Tsukiji fish market to watch the incredible work and more organized chaos around the world, the huge Shibuya crossing their currencies and thousands of young people around. Nijubashi, the emperor's palace, is also close to the Marunouchi subway, with its bonsai garden with a normal size tree.

down again If you can exit the subway in Shijuku to see the city towers above the government building. From there you can see Mount Fuji, (but I do not, because it rained every day!). From Tokyo also worth the trip by train to Nikko. Full of ancient temples, this is a site almost indescribable. And in autumn there are out there yellow or red trees are beautiful, magical.

sure there's much more to say and you can write a whole novel in thirty hours by plane. Take time out of a crazy and beautiful world like Japan.
