Calories And Sugar Cookies

bulerías

In Vienna there are ten girls,
a shoulder to cry on
death and a forest of dried pigeons. A fragment
am
in the museum of winter frost.
There is a lounge with a thousand windows.

Ay, ay, ay, ay!
Take this waltz with the mouth closed.

This waltz, this waltz,
self, death and
brandy that dips its tail in the sea.

I love you, love you, love you,
with the armchair and the book of death down the melancholy hallway
,
in the dark attic of the lily,
in our bed
moon and dance the turtle dreamed of.

Ay, ay, ay, ay! Take this waltz
broken waist.

In Vienna there are four mirrors
where your mouth and play echoes. One death

piano that paints little boys blue.
There are beggars on the roof,
There are fresh garlands of tears.

Ay, ay, ay, ay!
Take this waltz that dies in my arms.

Because I love you I love you, my love,
in the attic where children play, dreaming ancient lights

Hungary through the noise, the balmy afternoon, seeing sheep and irises

snow through the dark silence of your forehead.

Ay, ay, ay, ay!
Take this waltz of "I love you always."

In Vienna I will dance with you in a costume that has
river head. Look
shores I have hyacinth!
I will leave my mouth between your legs,
my soul in photographs and lilies,
and in the dark wake of your footsteps
love, my love, my love, leave,
violin and grave, the waltzing ribbons.

"Little Viennese Waltz" is a poetry of "Poet in New York" found in the ninth paragraph "Escape New York ". Nice, right? In another post there was talk of shrimp and its work based on the work of Federico García Lorca. If we stop to think, we realize that Federico García Lorca is the most famous poet in Spain, it is obvious that his work will inspire many musicians in the country. But so was?

Let's start ... In the same inning in which he spoke of shrimp was also introduced to Enrique Morente for their collaboration with Planets in "The Legend of space." Planets in this sense it was not innovative, it was Nick Lizard, the most important group Granada movement of the early nineties, he made a full album with Enrique Morente as a fusion of flamenco, and not to independent pop like planets but with a dirty rock and accelerated some call trash metal, this disco-bright-called Omega , is completely based on the work of Federico García Lorca and the second cut is version of "Little Viennese Vasl. Enrique Morente and Nick told Lizard with other well known artists such as Tomatito, which spoke David-o Vicente Amigo. The cover was:

Below is written "Sing to Federico García Lorca and Leonard Cohen " already mentioned some of Leonard Cohen on the blog, is a famous singer but why Nick Lizard Morente and flamenco tone reciting poems by Federico García Lorca Leonard Cohen sing? For Leonard Cohen sings Lorca and well before that Morente ( I'm your man, 1988). The truth is that some issues of Omega are interpretations of Cohen songs, which in turn are based on poems by Federico García Lorca. The Omega playlist is: Omega

Little Viennese Waltz (Take this waltz)
The pastor bobo
Manhattan (First we take Manhattan)
Dawn in New York
Priests (Priest)
girl drowned in the well
Adam
Vuelta a walk
Waltz on the branches
Hallelujah (Halleluyah No. 2)
Standard paradise for blacks
City sleepless
East and West

the list we see that there are songs sung by Leonard Cohen , which are those that are in parentheses. As an anecdote, while not mean much, Leonard Cohen named his daughter Lorca. We appreciate the significant role played by Federico García Lorca out to Cohen, but ... Is that all?

In 1986 he released an album called "Poets in New York " in tribute to Federico García Lorca, after fifty years of his death, the playlist and the musicians who composed each:

Take this waltz - Leonard Cohen
Norma i paradis - Lluis Llach
Grido to Rome - Angelo Branduardi
Birth of Christ - Victor Manuel
Your Childhood in Menton - David Broza
Murder - Paco Lucia and Pepe de Lucia
A Aurora - Raimundo Fagner and Chico Buarque
are blacks in Cuba - George Moustaki and Mikis Theodorakis
Unsleeping city - Donovan
Kleines Unendlich Gedicht - Manfred Maurenbrecher
Ode to Walt Whitman - Patxi Andion

In short, Federico García Lorca is known not only and admired in Spain, is a recognized poet in capitals around the world and much loved outside our country. You can not imagine the roots that have created their work and how they have caught many artists who are paying tribute.

Dedicated to David, which ultimately is very flamenco, luck with the exams.

Jazz fusion is a musical full of surprises, I recently discovered two discs produced by Michel Camilo and Tomatito sublime that I have found, adding that I'm trying to read Lorca I study and study "mu flamenco" I lately. Here
one of my favorite songs of these two albums called by the order of publication, respectively, "Spain" and "Spain again."

The quality of songs is more than confirmed, is energetic music, enveloping and very "race."
With much more to say about these previous albums but soon, a greeting without elves.

What Does Ringworm Look Like Wrestler

new writers Andalusian poetry, flamenco and other ...

Arlequín:

El sueño va sobre el tiempo
flotando como un velero.
Nadie puede abrir semillas
en el corazón del sueño.

(Se pone una careta de alegrísima expresión.)

¡Ay, cómo canta el alba! ¡Cómo canta!
¡Qué témpanos de hielo azul levanta!

(Se quita la careta.)

El tiempo va sobre el sueño
hundido hasta los cabellos.
Ayer y mañana comen
oscuras flores de duelo.

(He wears a mask of expression asleep.)

Oh, how she sings the night! How to sing!
dense anemones What up!

(He takes it.)

On the same column, embraced
sleep and time,
crosses the wail of the child,
broken the old language.

(with a mask.)

dawn Oh how she sings! How to sing!

(With the other mask.)

What thickness rose anemone!

if feigns sleep on the plain walls
time, time

makes you think that is born at that time.

Oh, how she sings the night! How to sing! What
blue icebergs up!

The third act of "So Five Years Pass" of Federico García Lorca recital begins with the character we just read Harlequin. Lorca wrote this play in 1930 (at least we know that began to write during his stay in New York ). Almost fifty years later Shrimp (just be stopped now call the island shrimp) published a masterpiece that revolutionized the world of flamenco and traditional sticks to dip into flamenco in the music of the era, combined with features styles such as jazz, blues The rock ... Shrimp gave him a new heart and new life to flamenco to " The legends of the time" work largely inspired by "So spend five years" from the very beginning (the subtitle reads "Legend of the time in three acts and five tables "). In the opening cut "The Legend of Time" which takes the same name, Shrimp offers its own version of the text of the character Harlequin above, keeping all the flavor and feeling that Lorca wanted to convey. The subject is well . The letter thus:

The dream is over time as a sailboat floating

seeds no one can open in the heart of the dream.

Time goes on sleep
sunk to the hair. Yesterday and tomorrow

eat dark flowers of mourning.

The dream is over time as a sailboat floating

seeds no one can open in the heart of the dream.

Time goes on sleep
sunk to the hair. Yesterday and tomorrow

eat dark flowers of mourning.
On the same column

sleep and time embraced the wail of the child crosses
broken the old language.

The dream is over time as a sailboat floating

seeds no one can open in the heart of the dream.

if feigns sleep on the plain walls

time time
makes you think that is born at that time.

The dream is over time as a sailboat floating

seeds no one can open in the heart of the dream.

far, how he approached other flamenco styles. Planets, Granada pop group independent who was born in 1993 decided to experiment with the reverse: Bring your indie-pop to flamenco. The result is "The Legend of space " work with title and cover are clear homages to "The Legend of Time" Shrimp. The Planet attempts to gather the most important flamenco clubs in this work dividing them into songs, even have the voice of Enrique Morente on "There must be a way" which studies the club called " Cañas." The subject is well . The letter thus:

There must be a path, a path

will take me, take me
where it can be.

If there is no way
no where to go.
will be a way
take me where I can be.

Others prefer to stay,
prefer to stay, although they can not live
. And I prefer

death rather than remain there as well.

Others prefer to stay but not to live, but can not live
.

's work The Planets is not as spectacular as "The Legend of Time" but deserves to be heard. In 2009 the project continued to produce the EP "Four sticks " of great cover much of the movie was filmed in Almeria. The EP is a tribute to Manolo Caracol, who is grandson of "Planet" (How funny) and he won a contest organized by cantejondo Manuel de Falla and Federico García Lorca (How curious.)

How little time there to make entries like this ...

How Long Does No Marks Cream Take To Work

overboard

If you really were a poet I would bite the jugular

secret keys have to throw into the sea
if you really have to jump
wood would lead into a vein.

Am I the wake of a comet, or follow my
animal instinct?
'm the worst enemy that I could find
I have a handkerchief and a knife
on the way back home again tomorrow
empty.

I lost it, and it does not matter that there are times

huts and times that you throw it overboard.
I lost it, and it does not matter that there are times

huts and times that you throw it overboard.

sea waves as they break
as if we look back
like a shower of stones
or not, and never returned.

How does it feel?
I really wanted to know
and truly learned.

I lost it, and it does not matter
sometimes there's nothing overboard
and times you throw it overboard.
I lost it, and it does not matter that there are times

huts and times that you throw it overboard.

and about the image, a passage from the Bible:

"These men strove to bring back the ship to land, but could not because the sea was tempestuous increasingly against them. Then they cried to the Lord and said: "We pray now, Lord, let us not perish for this man's life or make us responsible for the innocent blood: for thou, LORD, hast done as you wanted. "They took Jonah and then threw him into the sea, and quieted the rage of the sea. These men felt great fear for the Lord, they offered a sacrifice and made vows. But the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. "

01 Mustang Cylinder Order

Mil beginning, an end. Song

Al
romantic in his grave awaiting immortality
the scholar and skeptic
scratching the truth,
to Nobody, and Nothing All
the wind carry them away, forgotten and works

the cosmos remained, dissolved Statues

eternity begging
dead never die so long as the sweep

the treasure of the wise,
civilization and triviality,
are simply this: Just
Nothing and nothing else. And again maybe
ports
history, in another corner to tie, but not
flee from the tax,
to reach the desert garden,
Turning the eternal cycle ... Mil
beginning, an end.

Maxi Cosi Travel Case

winter and summer. The Song Remains

When is winter in the North Sea,
is summer in Valparaiso.
ships sounding their sirens when entering the port of Bremen
with wisps of fog and ice
in their ends, while the sloops
sunny move on the surface of the South Pacific
beautiful swimmers.

That happens at the same time,
but never on the same day.

Because when it's daytime in the North Sea mists and shadows
-absorbing remains
of dirty light-
in Valparaiso is night-shining stars
javelin throwing
asleep to the waves.

I doubt that we wanted, I was
your thoughts and my voice will
looking-back,
very close, my mouth was.
We loved her, true, and I know how:
spring, summer, suns, moons.

But never in the same day.

Song winter and summer ... sometimes enjoy getting to read or listen to some of the poems of my favorite Angel. Is one of them.

This poem can be heard on the album "word in the air" Pedro Guerra joint work with the poet.

was going to do an analysis of the poem or a text comment extensive I'm entertaining but between studying and I prefer that sometimes when people comment to our opinion is not the only one ever for the blog circuit I ended up leaving the poem waiting for a good analysis by our dear and scarce readers. Greetings
