You think it's possible to miss a city? And more: Do you think you may be longing for a city that is not what we know from children, we know of life? Yes, indeed!
So my life story is divided into a before and after Madrid.
I've been in Madrid three times a year and a half, since November 2009. To you who read me, do you think much? Yes? I agree with you, if I have the opportunity to travel, there are many interesting places to visit. But there are reasons heart: the first is that my daughter, single, lives there. Was to study. The other reason is that I've learned to look interested Madrid eyes, eyes that want to know what is not objective, straightforward, what is not written, it is necessary to discover and decipher.
The truth is that at first, I did not really enjoy Madrid. He had been in Paris ten days before and the comparison was inevitable. Gradually, I began to discover the beauty of Madrid was completely different from that of other cities that were visited. His charm was not in the sophistication of the shops and streets, in the style of dress for women and men, or size city \u200b\u200bor the magnitude of the monuments.

Metropolis |
The beauty of Madrid, which is beautiful, was and is in poetry that lives in the streets, in the imposing building on the simple, all very well maintained, in the parks of various trees, sweeping green and deep sky, even when ash. Poetry is in San Miguel Market, cozy and inviting. It's in the Cava Baja, tiles and brick facades of restaurants, wine bars and taverns, in the culture of museums at the Cibeles, Paseo Prado, in the building Metropolis, living statues and more.
However, rather than all this, the beauty of Madrid is its people. In his history of joy, pain, suffering, struggles, winners and losers in their culture drawn by many centuries, music, flamenco theaters to Alejandro Sanz and Tow. Is also in the stories told in sensitive films and great for a creative Almodóvar, acerbic critic of society.

Also, I say, - I am a lover of language - that language is the synthesis of the identity of a people. I think that is the case with Madrid. The poetry that I always talk in the end, then comes the sound of the language of the streets, shops, schools, museums, parks, restaurants ... It's in the music that people sing when he speaks. No matter if the Spaniard is in Catalonia, Asturias, Andalusia, France or Brazil, like me. The most important thing is to look at this city and feel its beauty and share it with those who can understand that simple sentiment.
Madrid, as is a passion, when I leave, I leave a piece of my heart and I plan to once the time to return.
